Hannoband®-3EBG1 is a pre-compressed, self-expanding multi-functional joint sealing tape based on polyurethane soft foam with patented functional membranes for direct exposure. It is impregnated with an acrylate dispersion impregnation, accessory agents and filling agents. Hannoband®-3E is ideal for fast, easy and durable window and door installations meeting all of the requirements pertaining to an air tight and heavy rain tight sealing.
 
Three sizes are available:

• Expanding foam tape for gaps between 6 to 15mm (1/4" - 5/8"). 30mm (1-3/16") inches wide x 7m (22.96') foot long roll

Product properties:

• For direct weather exposed joints
• Weatherproof
• Driving rain resistance up to 15.5 psf (ASTM E331/E547)
• Air tight: <0.03 cfm/ft at 1.6 psf / <0.1 cfm/ft at 7.5 psf (ASTM E283)
• High insulation properties: R-value for 2’’ wisw tape = 6.616 h*ft²*F/Btu; R-value 3’’ wide tape = 9.924 h*ft²*F/Btu

• Weather-independent installation
• Moisture-adaptive membranes, which adapt their water vapor permeability to the humidity stress. An increased ambient air humidity causes the diffusion resistance to also increase

• Halogen free - flame retardant for fire-safety
